I think packaging affects sales quite significantly on a large scale.
Personally I've never bought any medication ever but advertising works on the general population, so does packaging and brand loyalty otherwise they wouldn't do it.

I used to swear by "Panadol Extra" for fixing headaches, but over the last few years I've come to realise that Sainsbury's own brand does the same job just as well, for about a fifth of the price :yes:

No, mine never go away until I have fed them. Believe me, I've tried. It hurts :(
Many of mine are sinus related though.
