Ha. it worked. He heard voices in his head which may or may not have been me speaking aloud, and has gone to make tea.
The Lord of the Rings song. Brilliant. "Frodo, don't wear the ring, I know it's very tempting..."
Yo Frodo, what you doin’ wearing the ring?
All powerful jewelry, is that your new thing?
I know it’s hard when you’re little more than 3 foot 4
Your little ass so close to the floor.
Trying to lead the fellows to the gates of Mordor
The Fellowship!
(Yea the fellowship)
I don’t rap about bitches and hos,
I rap about witches and trolls,
just passing on the words of the Elven king,
Wisdom to all
Frodo! Don’t wear the ring!
I didn't realise you were one of the ones laid off when I replied to you btw.
Sorry to hear that.
Have you been officially laid-off, CG?
If so, proper fucking commiserations.
Truly sorry to hear that.
@ JP. I haven't replied to you as I'm pretty :emo: about it all but thanks so much for once more showing me that internet buddies can be as amazing as people you know irl.
I've been "reassigned" to the callcentre. It's like a demotion back to two years ago which, although is not as harsh as loosing my job completely like some people have done, is still the fucking utter pits as there was no warning they were even moving the department. We were right in the middle of implementing new procedures and had projects right on the go which were being signed off on even up to last friday.
CG, I knows you knows the craic with procedures in call centres and what not but I'll tells ya, that's the nature of the beast. Campaigns rise and die and teams disperse to fuckery.
Somebody possessing your exceptional linguistic skills is indispensable to the company you work for- we've already discussed how it's a small centre and a bit tight-knit.
You'll be fine.
I'm playing PES on the PS3 :01:
