These days, who&#39;s to say what&#39;s correct? I have heard both "uses" legitimized as high-end Ebonics.

"Hoosier" is certainly not a slur, is it? More a statement of "plain" fact. :)

I love Indiana, though I must say, I spend too much time traversing it in a North/South fashion; I would love to have a reason to try an East/West jaunt-alas, I haven&#39;t one. :(

Near Richmond.... that&#39;s east-central.... near the Ohio border.... off of I-70.
I live in the country.... south of town. :)
