I'm on linux and use firefox but have tried chrome. It's not that much faster but have that sliding in and out effect to make it look faster. I can't live with chrome when the addons suck, and the people that makes them are as slow as they are. I'm happy with my firefox for now.

I used to like Firefox but can't stand it now that it's always checking for updates on the addons, plus some versions just grind my computers to a halt.
Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> Update -> untick the second checkbox.Quote:

Firefox is better than chrome still. Because it has better security, less crashes, Great addons, Themes & better customization.
FF is still good.. but i like GC better.. its better imo, so i would say yes mate
Chrome is way better
chrome runs in a sandbox and is more secure but firefox has way too many usefull addons
correction, chrome is less secure but makes up for it by running sandboxed. firefox is more secure and doesn't need a sandbox.Quote:
