If I go to Brazil or Canada and they want to "identify" me via fingerprints or photographs, big friggin' deal. I'm not any less free.
On another note,
I work for Verizon as a technician in Washington DC. We do work for different government agencies. In order to do work for the FBI I need to get fingerprinted. There are some techs that have criminal records so they didn't even bother to try get clearance.
