Anime Sub-section In Movieworld

why did suprnova make an anime section?

because anime is very popular and it doesn't really fit in any of the other sections. it can include movies, tv shows, music and games.

i have seen (on bt) more downloads of some anime shows then anything else. something like this is a huge part of the file sharing community and should have its own forum (at least a sub forum).

anime forums do very well on other forums. they are many topics can be debated and discussed. we might even convince some people that anime isn't just child porn.


do people here really think a horor movies forum will do well? thats just a stupid argument that doesn't really apply here.

i know ill be in the anime forum (does anyone know whats happeneing with bakasan?)

I&#39;m personally not a great fan of anime but some of it interests me, and I&#39;m sure that is the case for others. I wouldn&#39;t go into an anime subsection and so would miss out on some topics that I might post in, and again I&#39;m sure this is the case for others. :(

Edit: At the moment I count 0 threads on the first page related to anime in any way, so is there any demand at all? Or is this just the latest forum-fad?

Perhaps you could concede to the possibility that anime fans are reluctant to post in movieworld, because there&#39;s always somebody who seems to think it&#39;s funny to mess it up ?

If that&#39;s true, which I doubt, that&#39;s a little sad. Post what you want, anime, TV series even about episodes of Captain Kanagroo for all I care.

If someone flames then that&#39;s what the report button is for, plus as I&#39;ve seen in this thread and many others if you bite then the flamer "wins" in a sense.

Best thing to do is just ignore any offending posts completely. I can think of no better way of dealing with this kind of nonsense, and if they persist then, like I said, use the report button.

And btw I see a couple of names standing up for Anime here who don&#39;t mind pissing over other peoples threads if the topic isn&#39;t to their liking so again your argument is flawed.

In a perfect forum people would stay out of topics that don&#39;t interest them. :(

What point have I proven completely? I&#39;m at a loss to understand your statement but feel free to enlighten me.

As I see it those that have posted in this thread are a pretty hard-headed lot and if they wanted to post anime topics they would have done already and to hell with the flamers. But still no topics in here, in fact I don&#39;t recall that many topics in Movieworld related to Anime at all in the six months I&#39;ve been here.

I&#39;m not against this idea because of my apathy towards Anime buit more because I like things kept under one roof so that I don&#39;t have to go searching too much for interesting topics.

Sorry but there just isn&#39;t any call for it, though you are more than free to prove me wrong by starting some anime topics and seeing how popular they get. And we&#39;ll distract the likes of Peerzyboy with free sweets in The Lounge or something. :lol:

But in horror movies there is the type with alot of shooting so like an action horror, there is gory horor, there is the love story horror theres is the physcological horror.

he called me a iggnorant bastard or something, that was a person and unconstructive attact about something i said, some he said was i have hitman 3 about a week before Ft even had it, after he was confronted he even stioll said he had it, that it had been on suprnova, then when asked for pictures he said no but now his brother had rented it, just asking of his brother had rented that yet? or nova had, had it for like 2 minutes cause he could always send me to torrent :)
