I think the original poster is trying "to go home again".
He is searching for a forum that never existed and his mind has glorified a distant memory.
People often refer to the "ketchup wars" as the pinnacle of this forum, but if they were to occur today, they would be considered banal.
His post was a maudlin attempt to regress to a simpler, happier time.
I must confess that the number of active forum members is becoming very low. How do we recruit fresh blood and stimulate old blood.

What I just don't get, is why people come on the board to say how crap it is....I mean, if its that bad, why bother?
It has been a little quiet of late, but from what people have said, it may have something to do with the fact that many members have real lives and are out in the sun on occasion....I suspect, that we will get more activity once the weather turns chillier.....

School is out and this should be the highest level of activity for this board. People have drifted away.
3rd noob, Lamsey, Weemouse, Lilmiss, Fugley, Jonno, NikkiD to name a few are nowhere near their prior preformance level.
Even when I do post, they seem to be weak and worthless. I am just a wee 3 star member, though.
