I've got a shower straight from the pipes, through a thermostatic control valve, but then I've got a mains-pressured hot water system which means I always have high pressure hot water whenever I want it, so I guess that makes all the difference...
In the morning it's so hot it'll burn the skin off your back! :angry:

Far better to just heat the water you want, when you want it.
Preferably by gas, but simply because it is cheaper.

Nope, instant hot water for ever, no tank which will eventually run out.
I think mine is rated at 45KW, you can heat water at one heck of a lick with that sort of performance.
@VB, I meant gas being cheaper than electricity.

edit: NVM did that math and here it would add up to about 6bucks for the whole family to have daily showers. B)
no clue what the water heater tanks cost monthly though.
