I don't know but one of the biggest reasons they didn't bring more batalions over after being initially repelled was because they didn't reckon we had anything worth pillaging :D
It was a clever ruse, we pretended to be savages and as they thought we didn't have a language (since we spoke with a native celt tongue) and were pretty fierce. They decided to leave us alone.
