come on you should know by now i type with boxing gloves!!!
its australia that do the little things right when there in trouble someone always gets them out of it
I know, I was on a grammar spree yesterday :D
It's pissing down today so we might get a bit of a repreive wrt teh cricket. Warne was awesome yesterday. We were fine til he came on.
man you got a fine batsman there in Peterson hes great to watch
A rather damp squib end to the game (4 ducks  )
Perhaps it was unwise to suggest that McGrath is past it.
Can't believe that the batting has let us down.
I thought maybe the bowling would be pretty ordinary if Harmison wasn't on form but never thought every batsman, except a debutant, would fail twice
Still, it was exciting for a time and I'm definitely looking forward to the next test :D
lmao I went to bed thinking it was a washout got back and seen all those ducks at the end
maybe just one day team will learn to bat against australia its ok Manker normally teams are lucky to get 200 against us
Vaughan scored almost that many on his own against you lot last time. It was our bowlers that were shite in the last Ashes series. I didn't think that England would struggle for runs.
Looks like it's the other way around this time but perhaps the batsmen are still in one-day mode. Teh Aussies too, the run-rate was ridiculously high for a test.
Australia always score runs that fast in tests pretty much against everyteam they get about 350 to 380 in a day!!
yeah your right Vaughn was getting lots of runs back then maybe that was just a bad wicket?? Vaughn is out of form since he became captaion
at least Peterson is a good thing for you he came up good
Second Test at Edgbaston :01:
England 132-1 at lunch :01:
Glenn McGrath got injured in the warm up :01:
Okay, that last one is a bit harsh but I think England need all the help they can get, teh Aussies have seemed really confident all week and their bowlers had done well in the warm up matches.
Trescothick badly needs a century now (77 no) he is such a confidence player and this could set him up for the whole series. Or at least until McGrath gets un-inured :ermm:
Having said that, on paper Vaughan (1 no) prolly needs a big score more then Tresco but the England Captain is much more mentally resiliant.
