Can you just make it something which is optional. Then folk can chose to look at it if they want, or not see it if they aren't interested.

To me it's just a constant reminder of the one thing I dislike about the board.

Let's see I need to get the guy who gave me BitMeTV, and Rperry gave me oink (many thanks), but he's not around anymore I guess... (Edit: actually I found him.)

I'm not going to read through 13 pages, so maybe this has been dealt with before...

I think that you should have the option to give trading rep points from a users profile. You don't always necessarily have to make a post in every thread that leads to a trade, but people still deserve the points. And giving the through other threads might be missleading, if someone bothers to read it..

not exactly, I think the problem is that it'll be hard to give points to people you traded with but who didn't post in your trade (or the other way around), not the anonymity part

In the user's profile, you can click on the "Find all posts by..." or "Find all threads started by..." links to find a post in order to give points if the trade initiated in a thread they didn't post in. Just pick any thread, I'm sure they won't mind.

I know, It doesn't really matter. But then there's not any meaning of showing which thread the point is from

You can refer to it by adding discription related to the trade at the moment!

ok, that was kinda starting to bug me but that change would be very good and make this system even better

it will be just beautiful with the menber name ;)

not that I like to make a fuzz over nothing but to make things even more beautiful... I think the green button is way to close to my flag, just a little more space between, with 5 buttons it will look messy I think...

before this option was available
there was a table with points to whoever gave to that person
and i had 2 points
is it possible to get them back, or i need to earn them once again?

best way to get them back is to PM to who ever gave them to you (if you remember) and ask them if they are kind enough to reward you with "trade rep" ;)

i had 10+ and i'm not complaining ... maybe when i will get bored i will start pming people:shifty:
