Thanks, i'm glad that you like them. I have more to share, in fact, with the amount of fantasy art(and others) i can share, i would probably have to post all day none stop for the next 10 yrs :lol:

Also, finaly someone is talking to me, its hard to be a n00b around here, but i understand, i'll take my hole and step by step make my way to the finest of FST's members, like they say, all in good time :)

You just keep plugging away,eventually you'll fit in,some can be harsh but just ignore them or taunt them,whatever makes you happy. :)

I prefer the diplomatic way, for me its always the best approach, way to react. None has been harsh to me persay, rather they just ignoring me for i am a n00b in a fine community, its always like that in good community, and thats ok. Also, when you want to fitin(not just in forums), you have 2 allies, being a good poster(person) and time ;)

If it's fantasy type stuff, I've always liked Roger Dean. He's the chap who did the album covers for Yes.

@Hairbautt - ive never seen Species, i watched part of it once but didnt understand the plot, im gonna watch it next.

@Mathea - Im an aliens (the movie) fan more than a Giger fan, reading about him in Wikipedia, he had strange nightmares and drew them. :fear:

It's like a sci-fi porno almost (near nudity); Natasha Henstring (SP?) is hot as well as Marg Helgenberger, but she has some lousyass hair in the first one. :dabs:

I used to have that Album JPF, right up until the floods at Hayling Island in 1978, when my mother's house was flooded, it was never seen again :( I remember one track 'Close to The Edge." ..

That's the album's name as well Nigel, if memory serves.

Just watching the opening credits to Species - Giger was a Designer on that aswell, i understand now.

and what is art? Art is like beauty... only for the "eye of the beholder..."

I mean would you give millions for a painting like Van Gogh's Starry Night, or his Sunflower attempt ..lets be honest..it's rubbish! The only reason that it's valued so high is that these "Art" Crooks have to invest their swag, somewhere... IMO anyone trying to invest millions in "Art" should be arrested, thrown into the dungeons and the key thrown away...untill the "incarcerated" realizes..he should have been giving that money away to some good cause..like helping combat the aids epidemic in Africa..or finance a fresh water supply for said same Continent.
