However, had Vick not gotten into trouble, the Falcons should be fighting for the NFC South. We had it all worked out, pretty much. Although we don't have any WRs, we have Petrino (who was going to work on Vick as much as possible), the Dunn/Norwood duo with Norwood catching out of the FB position, and an improved defence.
Oh well..

I'm still amazed by Peterson. That guy is a true BEAST! Once the Vikings step up their passing game, I think they'll be set for a great future seasons.
The Packers beat a team whose defense was ranked as one of the best this season. They hadn't let a team score more than 20 points on them this year. And they had the best redzone D of any team going into week 8.
Of course, the Favre changed all that. :)

I just finished the Pats/Ravens game.
First off the Pats were lucky to win that game.
Had it not been for that phantom timeout, they were done.
That was easily one of the top games of the season.
1. Dallas/Buffalo
2. Pats/Ravens
3. Pats/Philly
Broncos continue to suck.

They had a good 3rd quarter and that was it. If Minny had beat us, they were in the playoffs.

For the Redskins to make the playoffs:
Redskins must beat Dallas next week.
or
If the Redskins lose to Dallas, the Saints and the Vikings must lose.
The Redskins are now 8-7
The Vikings are now 8-7
The Saints are now 7-8
The Redskins own the tiebreak with Minny.
The Saints play Chicago next.
Minny plays Denver.
Neither game is a gimme but the Saints have the harder road.
Dallas has nothing to play for since Chicago totally demolished Green Bay 35-7:pinch:. Dallas has clinched home field advantage (and already has a first round bye).
