I use Kaspersky Internet Security and works fine for me.
Hey thanks to all
this is very good information about computer.
I have some problem about my PC.
I am read this article and happy to find best solution for my PC.
thanks to all gain.
Using Eset NOD for couple of years now, very good program.
I was using avira antivir for some time and i think that it is a very good program.
Good information. Another anti-virus most people forget to mention is the simple Microsoft Security Essentials. Free download and does a fairly good job with relatively low resource needs. I tend to keep MalWareBytes up to date, CCleaner and run Microsoft Security Essentials and the Microsoft Firewall on computers that are "acceptable risk" systems for my home. For systems that I use for anything work related or contain sensitive information, I use MWBs, CCleaner and run NOD32 with Sygate firewall (great mention btw).
I do try to keep my access lists clean with DAPE (Deny All, Permit by Exception) rules kept up to date as well. There are several apps out there for your smartphone that will also help to determine what ports are open on your home network and systems; this will greatly assist you with locking them down. Password protect your computers. While this sounds obvious, most people tend to leave systems open due to ease of access. The easiest way to access a system is leaving it vulnerable without a password. For better security practices, use a 10-character (or preferably more) password with Upper/Lower case Numbers and Special Characters included. Even if you don't do this though, just for the sake of making it slightly more troublesome to gain access to your system, toss on ANY password.
Keeping your systems up to date is probably the most important thing ilw mentioned. Whether you run Windows or some variation of UNIX, regularly check for system updates as well as application updates.
I use Kaspersky Internet Security for like 2 years and works really fine for me.
if you got money then buy kaspersky if not that use avira free version it works great but there are trail reset tools for kaspersky
I use avast and it's working better then other I used.
Good info thanks for sharing.
You really should update that online virus scan list.
Not having Look'n'Stop on your firewall list is a crime.
Mc Caferee Anti-Virus
Comodo Internet Security, free and good!
i use avast free and works good
I using Avira and I Like it :D
I using kapersky internet security 2012.This is the best.Firewall is great!
I'm using avast one year free trial.
Great post
currently using eset smart security with no complaints
I use kaspersky for the last 6 - 7 years and i had no problem ever
Norton is decent..... It use to suck hardcore years ago
Beed using ESET for the past decade, and its never failed me once.
It seems one can never make the right decision as to which is the best program...
I use a combination of Microsoft Security Essentials, Malwarebytes and CCleaner which seem to catch eveerything.
i m currently using avast i am facing some problem with my system it is shutting down if i open too many windows i dont know why
Im using bit defender. Seems pretty light weight and doesnt annoy or pop up unless there is a threat. I recommend it highly.
I'm using Avast in combination with Commodo firewall. I also scan regularly with Malwarebytes and Superantispyware.
I'll give another thumbs up for the Avast/comodo combo. Avast has been great as an antivirus and I like that comodo by default sees everything as a threat unless you specify otherwise. You get complete control (though it can lead to accidentally blocking internet access to certain programs if you aren't careful). Twice my girlfriend has blocked firefox's ability to access the internet, then blamed me because she couldn't access facebook.
now i prefer kaspersky antivirus.
for me kaspersky antivirus is the most effective antivirus so far. i'm using it at least three years and until now i don't have any trouble
Thanks for the information
Anyone has used Comodo Antivirus before ?
I was using Eset Nod 32 and was looking for something new. I'm now using Bitdefender Total Security, really complex but it's doing the job.
Been using Only that for 4 years now, I have YET to have a single problem ... EXCELLENT product ...Quote:
Thanks for the information
Anyone has used Comodo Antivirus before ?
I used it before, but now I think Nod32 is better... but maybe i'm wrong...
Right now I'm using Comodo Antivirus as part of Comodo Internet Security and I'm happy with it.
I use malwarebytes as a backup to that.
I once used avast in conjunction with Comodo firewall but I found that the two programs didn't play well together on my system.
Also, if you use a vpn, don't run malwarebytes at the same time because it can interfere with the OpenVPN protocol.
