That's just plain nasty, I thought there must be something special about it being a 1976 AMC Pacer.Quote:

You're trapped inside a locked 1976 AMC Pacer, and the only tool available to you is a 4" pocketknife. How do you get out ?
If you were locked inside my car you wouldn't get out with just a 4"" pocket knife. There are all sorts of little failsafes to prevent you from locking yourself in the car without the keys, but it is possible (with determination) to get round them or for someone else to lock you in.
well it is onyl 16 weeks to christmas
;) There are "child proof locks" on the rear doors of my truck as well lynx... but those gizmos didn't exist in the '70s to the best of my knowledge.Quote:

Just pull the little lock/unlock bit up and you're free to go ;)
Here's one I haven't heard before:
During WWII, there was a bridge connecting Germany and Switzerland, and on the German side, there was a sentry tower with a guard in it. He would come out every three minutes to check on the bridge, and he had orders to turn back anyone who tried to get into Germany, and shoot anyone trying to escape without a pass. There was a woman who desperately needed to get into Switzerland, and she knew she didn't have time to get a pass. It would take her five minutes to cross the bridge, but she managed to do it. How?
She should walk on to the bridge just after he has checked, and start crossing.
After two minutes, she must turn back and start walking towards Germany again.
The German guard will come out before she reaches Germany and turn her back, allowing her to enter Switzerland safely.
@ Lamsey: That is exactly why that trick doesn't work on cars that are difficult to steal.
Edit: damn, you're too quick for me today.
Here's another then:
A man was found shot dead in his study. He was slumped over his desk and a gun was in his hand. There was a cassette recorder on his desk. When the police entered the room and pressed the play button on the tape recorder they heard, "I can't go on. I have nothing to live for."Then there was the sound of a gunshot. How did the detective immediately know that the man had been murdered?
He couldn't have pressed stop and rewind to get the tape in the right place for the police to press play?
EDIT: I mean, it was leprechauns!
I always thought they were called "jockeys"...Quote:

That's right, the leprechauns did it. :PQuote:

they told you to say that didn't they?!
they can't get me, I've got lead-lined underpants. :P
Doesn't half cause a nasty bit of chaffing though. :(
Well, apparently bigboab's squeezing a few more drops out of the suspense factor so allow me; B)
I have a "special taste". My first four letters will reveal a plant and
my last three are a fish. Guess what I am ?
The multiple choice given below represents only my first letter.
=============
1) C
2) L
3) V
4) O
Vine+Gar = Vinegar :P
I would say that last answer was right LAMSEY!
I have been unable to get on the Forum due to technicalities (Not mine!). I am only managing to get a couple of pages before it 'crashes'. After this next riddle I will probably be barred from the Forum anyway.
All you have to do is crack the following code:-
CA-MM-ANO-MM-OSOAR-MM
It requires a sense of humour, Dialectal freedom and the realization that everything is not what it appears to be.
No further clues possible. Bye!

Fart! Or, as the man said, "A pile of bricks on a museum floor is not F in Art.
I understood the humor... just wasn't sure as to where or to toward whom the comment was directed. :PQuote:

At least bb hasn't acknowledged it if I did. :P
Okay - We've had some challenging ones recently, so here's a relaxing one. This isn't meant to be hard, but it does involve thinking logically.
These days, practically anything you see has "My first..." in it. e.g. "My first book", "my first toy", yada yada yada. Although just because you encounter most of the "my firsts" you experience at a young age, it doesn't mean that all of them are experienced as a kid ;)
What is the one thing that is guaranteed to be the last "first" experienced by anyone, regardless of who, what, why, where, when or how? :)
my first deathQuote:

I looked at it like this:
- CA-MM (See they M&Ms)
- ANO-MM (They no M&Ms)
- OSOAR-MM (Oh so they are MMs)
So my response:
- OIC-AR-MM (Oh I see, they are M&Ms)
And I just threw in the part about the green ones to be silly.
But apparently, since bb hasn't said anything, it wasn't right. :(
You are extremely close TITEY! The fact that you have got that close means that it is solvable. Just study the original clues.
Threw in the Green ones,Thats an old one like:-
Whats green, grows and has wheels?

Just a bit off on the words! Remember it is a daft answer. :)

ANO-MM (Ain't no M&Ms)
OSOAR-MM (Oh yeahso they are MMs)
 ?????????
Sorry, don't really know the brogue too well. :(
Closer the last time!
Remember everything is not what it seems to be!
It might be better if you used a different font.
