I liked how I met your mother but the most recent season kinda sucks. Big Bang Theory is good too but similarly don't like the most recent season...
South Park is shocking and very good, but I get the most laughs out of 'Arrested development'

you should definitely check out the first two seasons of "Not Going Out" (is gets a bit soggy in season 3 tho')
I have watched many comedy tv shows over the years but I think none of the other comedy series even close to "Friends" in terms of consistency, good acting and funny writing. "Friends" is a timeless master piece and it will remain so in years to come in my view.

It's sunny in Philadelphia. The whole cast is funny as hell, but Danny devito is in a class way above most funny actors. I hope to see him in a lot more tv shows and movies. Another great show is the in betweeners. The series is over now, but they are making a movie out of it. The movie should come out in the near future.
If you haunt checked these tv series out I highly recommend them.

Random but I think Supernatural is one of the funniest shows out there, even thou not a "Comedy" - I still cry with laughter at some scenes
I think that scrubs was poorly done, bad writers actors on their last limb, and a stupid story line. Thank god it finnaly ended because i love comedy central and that show was always on. I have never really watch how i met your mother but if you think scrubs is the funniest show out then I have no plans on watching it in the future. There are so many other shows that are hilarious. I also can not understand how anyone can think Friends is funnier then Seinfeld.
