Children of Dune by Frank Herbert
A Forest Of Eagles by James Follett :D
Right now, I'm back on "The Silmarillion" by J.R.R. Tolkien, (AGAIN) maybe one day I'll get this book finished, I want to finsih it, but it just bores the hell outta me.
Also, I just started reading "Power Shift" by Alvin Toffler,
and "If Chins could kill, Confessions of a B-Movie Actor", by Bruce Campbell,
Already read it 4 times, but it's just so damn funny, especially the e-mails, I love the e-mails. :P :D
It's very difficult, I kept losing track of who's who in it.Quote:

Ok, i finally managed to finish The Da Vinci Code with on and off reading, don`t have much time to read. Anyways i really liked the book, a very interesting read. The ending turned out not the way i planed though, won`t spoil it for ya. Went to B&N yesterday and checked out some stuff, lots of choices to read through, anyways I`ve picked out P.J. Tracy`s Monkeewrench for the next read:

I am currently reading ( for the second time) Beelzebub's tales to his grandson, by G.I. Gurdjieff, and taking Gurdjieff's advice, when I have finished, I shall read it once more.... :)
Now: Pratchett's Wee Free Men (finally)
Edit - Next: James Joyce's Ulysses, then Michael Moore's Stupid White Men
Good Lord! I think I'm becoming Eclectic! :o
Just finished Papillon which was simply unputdownable.
Just started reading 2 books in fact. The Eternal Husband and other short stories by Dostoevsky, and The Gulag Archipelago by ALexander Solzhenitsyn. Both are fantastic.
The Gulag Archipelago is, indeed, a wonderful account.
Right now I'm finishing up Lord of the Isles, which means I have to place another Amazon order soon.
:ninja:
right now- Dan Brown- THE DA VINCI CODE
i am in awe of this book. AWE.
read it and read it now.
Re-reading A Game of Thrones for the umpteenth time.
Due to Amazon being stupidly slow with orders, they aren't getting any more money out of me. Which is too bad, because my orders were always in excess of $100, usually every two weeks.
:ninja:
Star Wars: New Jedi Order - Traitor.
I've read most of the books in the series, ordered 3 more online but still waiting for them
I finished my exams and now have time to read.
Was recommended to read this by my biology tutor:
The Selfish Gene
"I am sam"
I'm reading The Great Gatsby for my English class, and I'll be reading 2 other books as well.....The Old Man and The Sea by Hemmingway, and Ender's Game by someone :P
i dont read books and dont intend to start any time soon
Why come into Bookworld if you don't read books? :huh:Quote:

Seems a bit pointless to me.

Currently reading The Dice Man by Luke Rhinehart, just started in fact.
Georges RR Martin's "A game of thrones"
Reading, Angela's Ashes, By Frank McCourt. A bizzare writing style. He uses no dialouge, and it bothers me so, since I read plays a lot. To go from all speaking, to none is quite unnerving. A good read though. Chock o bock full of colloquiallisms. Wow, I spelled that really oddly. Nope, I checked in the dictionary, and its right. Neato. Next up is a re-reading of Beowulf. I loved it, but its a different translation, so it'll be different.
Ender's Game is fantastic! I hope you enjoy it...Quote:

hmmm. amazing. i've never felt so intelligent after reading.
after that - SOPHOCLES, OEDIPUS REX.
i last read Michael Caine's autobiography called 'What's it all about'...great read
I'm reading Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton (it's such a good book)
next up, I put a hold on Big Fish: A Novel of Mythic Proportions by Daniel Wallace (I haven't seen the movie yet either)
I'm just about to start the Iliad. (Penguin Classics edition)
:o
Just finished Stephen King's "Wolves of the Calla", next up is the 6th book in the series "Song of Susannah".
currently reading:-
The Book Of Life - J. Krishnamurti
Crossing Over - John Edward
not sure what to read next depends what mood I'm in when I need to pick the next one
Just finished Irvine Welsh's, "Porno".
It was fantastic, not a dull moment.
And it convinced me to go back and re-read "Trainspotting". :D
erm, Pagan's Crusade, by Catherine Jinks.
woo! non fiction set in the crusades with templar knights and consumption!
The motorcycle diaries by Che Guevara
Valhalla rising by Clive Cussler.
I got misinformed, thought it wasn't what it is, if it wasn't for the fact that I hate stopping once I've started reading a book I'd stop right now, 'cos it really truly sucks.
