Sometimes a scene release for a certain film has problems, and I want to replace it with a p2p encode, but in the past months a lot of these p2p encodes have not been posted as much (especially the ones by usenet4all.eu / u4e). I can only assume they are now encrypted and only accessible if you're a member.
I also like to follow the flac and pc iso scene, but since kere.ws went offline, I don't have a rss for those anymore, so I am trying to replace it.

Yesterday found a new Usenet search engine UsenetHub that is designed as browser for binary files from newsgroups. In my eyes very interesting and unique project. I wrote to their support and asked why they have so low amount of Nzbs and got answer that they launched their site just a weeks ago and that they moderate the content manually so it takes some time till the site will be filled with all Nzbs.

nzbporn.org aims at a clean, quick and efficient user interface for nzb searching, downloading and spotting. Not every user is into these vbb forum community things for daily nzb consuming.
The use-case of a typical nzb forum: check forum, select an interesting post, hit the thanks button, copy header infos, find nzb with some nzb search engine, download nzb. This is way too complicated. Instead: Login, check newest spots directly with logos/screens preview/thumbnail, download nzb. That's the goal - right know the technical stuff is done. It still needs to be fine tuned and optimized. Of course user base and community is missing right now. It's just the beginning.

It's another Newznab index. It's still backfilling. I guess it's OK if you want to use a Tor based index. Donations are optional so it's not a money grab. I don't see how Tor protects the end user. Joining a NZB site and/or downloading Nzbs is not illegal. Usenet providers don't log downloads. Using a Tor NZB site seems overly paranoid.Quote:
