There are 2 things wrong with your statement.Quote:

the thing that anoyed me the most is that neo could just of inserted his code at the end of the 2nd film and the only thing that would of changed is that zion would of been destroyed. i was hoping for him to destroy the machines completely, free everyone, remove the clouds from sky and start building earth back up.
1. If Neo inserted himself into the Matrix in Reloaded, then 99% of humanity would be stuck in the power plant.
In other words, he was able to bargain for the freedom of man.
2. The whole theme in Reloaded was Choice. Neo had to CHOOSE to give himself up. The Architect said it, the Oracle said it.
This is why he doesn't fight whole heartedly in Revolutions with Smith (in the rain). Smith even asks him why he does it. Neo responds, Because I choose to.
Neo MUST give himself up. In doing so he is able to bargain with the machines to free man from slavery.
Aside from this, many other people had a problem with the movie because Neo, Morpheus and Trinity were not in it that often. If you watched the Animatrix you will see that the movie is about freedom. The machines start as slave, and soon become masters (Free), and now enslave man. Man is now fighting for freedom, freewill (choice).
I could go on and on, but I'll leave it at this.
Excellent way to put it shadow.....
everything is nothing
existence is what we make it...through choices

LOL.... Now come on man did you really wanna see the movie end with the all great drab hollywood ending....Neo And trinity in the park with thier kids....The sun is shining..The birds Are singing....blah blah blah blah blah...
If that's the way the movie would have ended I myself would have been very dissapointed....and I'm sure i wouldn't be the only one...
oh yeah, and TRON.
I agree man...the movie ended as such for 2 reasons
(1) because it had to...Neo had to "sacrifice" himself...if he did what he did to Smith in part 2, Zion would be destroyed with no bargains with the machines...plus he didn't KNOW to do it then. It was only after time gave him a chance to think.Heck if the oracle didn';t buggy Smithin the last fuight and made him say that prophetic junk he STILL wouldn't have known!
(2) Never kill a franchise...an old Hollywood motto ala Star Wars, Terminator, Lethal Weapon etc etc ;O)
well, its nice to watch the movie, then get a screener, but i download movies before i watch them at theaters, so when i get home i dont have to download it, and wait, cuz i already got it....ya bastard.Quote:

<_< BTW all you people who've come on here complaing about the spoilers - :swear: OFF. you probably only came on here to see if a screener has been released (i did). If you like something so much go out and pay money for it. I saw reloaded in cinema a week b4 it came out, downloaded it 2 week later and then bought it on DVD.
:alien:
lick my pussy and my crack LOL!
Juz saw it and it was only eye - candy
I won't type for pages letting you know everything i will tell you the main bits
Personaly I don't think it was avery good film but you should decide
Trinity and Seraph die. Bane wakes up fights with Neo and neo ends up being blind but kills Bane. Smith Takes over the oracle Seraph and Satee(little girl). Neo goes to machine city makes a deal that if he kills smith the machines will leave zion. smith takes over neo but then neo explodes all smiths neo dies(I think) THats all i can remember
it's worth seeing just too know if you like it or not.
Also 1 of the ships pilots says knowone has ever been 100km near the machine city but in the first matrix morpheus says he has seen the fields where humans are grown
Also why does agent smith fly for no reason
Also in the end of the first matrix neo takes on agent smith when he is the one and he defeats him easily but in this matrix agent smith is winning .
I would say it is a good film but not for watching twice
whyd u make ur own topic?
Seraph didnt die.
didnt you see him at the end?? in the park? when the oracle and the architect were talking? the guy with the little girl, that was seraph
about the fields. If you think about it, almost the entire world population is plugged into the matrix, these fields are thousands of miles long because they contain billions of people.
The machine city appears to be in the middle of these fields, which means that Neo and his friends have been to the fields, but they have never been close to the city.
and Bane is Agent Smith in the real world. In the second movie, Agent Smith managed to download a copy of himself into Banes body by taking over Bane's mind, he could control Bane's body. If you noticed when neo looked at Bane after his eyes were damaged, you can see agent smith on fire. Neo could see him inside Banes body.
Guys, Is Revolutions available on Kazaa?

I would say it is a good film but not for watching twice
- Morpheus has been to the fields not the City
Also why does agent smith fly for no reason
- Agent Smith somehow connected with Neo when Neo went inside him and gained most of his powers (or something)
Also in the end of the first matrix neo takes on agent smith when he is the one and he defeats him easily but in this matrix agent smith is winning .
- Agent Smith has disconnected from the Matrix and is a "rogue program" therefore not held back by the Matrix program itself, plus the thing I said above
It's still there just connect to the node and clik the hash.
Jus Saw This 2day....and i thought it was pretty good!
better than reloaded but not as good as the 1st
i think all 3 sucked :P
Yeah, I just read in the newspaper while looking for times for Revolutions, and it said that the Wachoski brothers proved that it is possible to go from a stunning movie to a cheesy movie.
But im gonna leave to see it in about 15 min.
I saw the movie today and i loved it. I too had many questions but thanks to something a read on another board my questions were answered. All i can say is people don't understand what lies beneeth the cool effects and battle scenes and miss what the Matrix is truly about  . Hopefully after reading this you will enjoy the trilogy more :D .

I apologize if my email does not follow the rules of this forum, but I felt I could offer you a very clear explanation of the Matrix series in light of reading your reviews of the Matrix Revolutions. The bottom line is people don't understand it. So this is a crash course for anyone who wants answers. Real one's, not some fanboys idea of what it's about. Please note, SPOILERS ARE ALL THROUGH THIS REVIEW.
Here we go with the basics.
Zion is real! The Matrix is not.
The Matrix was designed to provide a mental stimulus for the human bodies connected to the machines as a source of power. This is the sixth version of the Matrix. There have been multiple versions of the Matrix because of a flaw in the program (kinda of like Windows). That flaw is giving individuals the ability to choose.
The first Matrix was designed as a perfect uptopia (see pt. I - Smith explains it to Morpheus; pt. II - The Architect explains it again) but humans did not accept it as real so they just kept waking up. It was redesigned to reflect our civilization at it's last stage before it was taken over by the machines (the year 1999).
The Architect's problem with this new design (the anomoly)of the Matrix is that it require individuals to think freely, i.e. choice. It was the Oracle that suggested he redesign the Matrix in this way. But since humans have choices, so must the programs sent to watch over them, i.e. The Agents, thus bringing us the problem that is Mr. Smith. In Reloaded, The Architect continues to speak of the anomoly he is unable to get rid of, which is why at some point, he feels the only solution is to destroy the Matrix and those who are aware of it (the people of Zion) and start from scratch again.
The Oracle says it clearly in Revolutions. Mr. Smith is the result of the anomoly trying to balance itself. Mr. Smith began to think freely (see part I where he is freaking out while interrogating Morpheous) and the result was a negative one. Realize this, he is a similar program to the One so he is far more dangerous than a normal individual who makes bad decisions. Mr. Smith's virus like behavior happened in EVERY VERSION OF THE MATRIX. The result would always lead to the same thing -- a system crash if they didn't quickly reboot the system. The same knee jerk reaction you have when you realize someone has sent you a virus.
The One program was created to solve this problem. But each version of the One ultimately failed. Neo is different, in Reloaded he choose the door that led to Trinity, not the door that RESETS the program. Note: The Architect even noticed that Neo's experience in the Matrix was different than all the rest, realizing he was the first of them to fall in love.
Onto Revolutions:
Neo's choice has changed everything. The system is still threatened by Smith's behavior, so the Oracle makes a new choice; one she has never done before because no version of the One has ever chosen the difficult path as opposed to easy one of just resetting the system. She allows herself to become merged with Smith in the HOPE that she'll be able to help Neo when the time is right.
Neo makes another unique choice. He goes to the machines and asks for PEACE as opposed to simply destroying the system by going through the opposite door as all other versions of the One did. It was a simple as that to save Zion. Machines don't need very long to process that this may be a better idea than just constantly resetting the system.
At the end, Smith says to Neo the movies tagline - "Everything that has a beginning has an end," as the Oracle is speaking to Neo through Smith. Neo realizes it all along, the only way to end this is to sacrifice himself. The Oracle noted that Neo and the Source (the computer mainframe, the Architect they're all one and the same so don't get confused) are connected which is why he can control machines outside the Matrix. He uses this connection to his advantage. He becomes a Mr. Smith and since all the Smith's are connected, the Source now has a lock on Smith and simply deletes him. Pretty simple huh?
For those that like to dig deeper, than note the biblical references throughout the series. Heck, the French Man (Merovigchian) is the Devil, just read the elevator button Morpheous presses when he goes to see him for the second time. The Architect represents God - i.e. the creator of the world and its destroyer whenever things don't go as he wants. He even has you to chose a select group of people to restart Zion again sort of like Noah's Ark. Neo is Jesus, the one who realizes that peace and love is the answer, not war. And the Oracle represents the Holy Spirit - the conciousness that resides in all of us. It's a deep trilogy if you PAY ATTENTION.
thnx for the quote restricted ;)
B) wow, that cleared up a lot of stuff for me
I saw it, but what is the little girl suppose to be? At the end she said she made the sky colorful for neo.
i watched it today and its almost as good as the first. a lot of stuff made sense but it still doesnt seem over, even though it is
Overall, I was looking for some more closure to the series. I was also looking for some more of the 'matrix' in the Matrix movie... meaning there was more footage of them in the real world than in the matrix. I'm still left wondering if there's a matrix in a matrix (why can Neo see in gold?). Can someone explain this, or has someone explained this?
One question: Anyone bother staying to the end of the credits? Is there anything at the end of the credits? Probably not, but I'm just wondering.
i think that might have something to do with the oracle. and also i think thats the only possible ending without ending the worldQuote:

oh yeah and i spent alot of time looking for subliminal messages after a freind told me that neo is the sixth "one" because he lives at apartment 101 which is six in binari. all i noticed is the word god on the fridge a blurry oracle before it zooms in on neo and the fact that credits didnt go by to rage against the machine ;) :o :D
Finished watching this about 30 minutes ago and I have to say I thought it kicked ass. I didn't want this installment to be like the 2nd (i.e. full of rambling that didn't really make much sense to my simple mind lol), I wanted it to be a simple action film based around the war, and was very happy that they ended it with an action movie rather than something more along the lines of the 2nd :-)
Everyone who hated the film, soz to hear that :-( I get the feeling you were expecting something deeper from it.
The trilogy seemed to follow these lines, IMO -
1st Movie - Mixture of action and explanation about what the Matrix is.
2nd Movie - More on the past of the Matrix, and Neo's role. (Less action)
3rd Movie - Deciding the future of the Matrix, and the outcome of the war. (More action)
- Seem's to me that the What-sa-ma-call-it-brothers got the balance pretty balanced overall.
Thank's to Restricted for that quote, there were some thing's that I didn't fully understand still but the quote actually make's sense for a change (compared to some i've read on the forum about various film's lol) and helped me understand the idea's behind it better :-)
Also, to possibly answer Mik3ll's question - After reading Restricted's post I believe that some of the other people who've posted in this thread are right about her being the next One, or something like the One but not the One?, so-to-speak.
Anyway, awesome film with awesome fight scene's in it and not much in the way of thinking needed (just the way I like film's lol) :-)
Sniper.
Thats what my dad said, so I think that she might be the next One also.Quote:

BTW, I think the movie kicked ass, but the newspaper called it cheesy.
And you know how the people that made it are called the Wachoski brothers, I heard one of the brothers is getting a sex change, I wonder what they would call them selfs next.
2 much infoQuote:

I only have one thing to say. I didnt watch Matrix Revolutions just too see a VERY VERY BAD impression of a DragonBall Z episode gone wrong. And When Smith does his lights in eyes thing, what the hell is that ment to be? Smith going Super Saiyin?
The only good thing about the whole film was the contradictions through out it that made me laugh.
Example. Neo climbs out of the Logos after crashlanding in the middle of Zero-One. Isnt it convinent the machines where nice enough to INSTALL SOME LADDERS just incase some humans came bumbling along.
the movie was gay just like the 2 before it KR should make point break 2 hes a lot better at being a stupid dumb surfy dude hangten man as for matrix ill never spend another cent on that film it sucked ass
and no nothing after the credits...sat through them just in case but theres just that funky techno song and i think damn near everyone in the world recieved a credit in that movie theyre so long!...i didnt know whether or not i liked it but the more that i read it makes more sense and i like it...gonna go see it again...
Did you watch the Animatrix? When 01 was originally built by the machines, most of them had humanoid forms. They eventually advanced their own designs to break out of the imperfect human form and become the efficient squidlike structure. Anyway, the original humanoid machines would have needed ladders, which explains why they are there.Quote:

hey i got a couple of questions after i saw the movie.....
1) Neo's dead right?
2) Is the Matrix (fake world) still continuing or is everyone free?
3) Was all the machines wanted was Smith to Die?
4) Why did the robots make peace?
5) How did Smith Die?
6) Did the Movie Suck In YOur thoughts? (the ending sucked ASS)
Well I know neo did die. Agent smith also died from neo killing him.
how did he die all i saw was him exploding like in number 1...Quote:

1.)we dont kno yet, but at the end we did see neo carried off and then then saw the machines in neo's eyes...
2.)the real world is continuing, at the end the oracle said peace wont last long
3.)yes, after neo told him wat smith is doing they plugged him in and let him do his thing
4.)they also relized what smith is doin
5.)he died when all the other smith's were blown apart, in the end you could see the 1st smith that battled neo was the oracle...
6.)i couldnt really judge this film, the badass fight at the end was all i wanted to see and smith saying
Mr. Anderson, Welcome back...We've missed you..
1) Neo's dead right?
I think that's up to the individual...I think he mirrors Jesus, by sacrificing himself for the freedom of the rest of humanity, so I think it's up to you to decide if he 'rises from the dead'. I think the machines were taking him to be liquified and fed to someone else, as described in The Matrix. Karma, reincarnation, whatever, he's not dead IMO
2) Is the Matrix (fake world) still continuing or is everyone free?
According to the Architect, those who want to be free, will be freed.
3) Was all the machines wanted was Smith to Die?
The machines knew that Smith was going to end up taking over their world too, so, yeah.
4) Why did the robots make peace?
I think it's kind of symbolic, like the machines may have earned a little bit of 'humanity' by making that deal. It's like they were in support of human life. A deal is a deal though, and Neo traded getting rid of Smith for Peace.
5) How did Smith Die?
Once again, it's kind of up to individual speculation, but I think that Smith and Neo were opposite anomalies of eachother, and when Smith assimilated Neo, they merged and cancelled eachother out, just like two sides of an equation set equal...problem solved!
6) Did the Movie Suck In YOur thoughts? (the ending sucked ASS)
I am happy with the way it ended, because I thought there was going to be another layer of the Matrix, like zion = second matrix. I'm glad they didn't do that, I would have been pissed. However, there could have been more Matrix in it, there was only Matrix in the movie for 20 minutes. The rest was Zion. should have been called Zion Revolutions
