New TV Series

I saw HyperDrive as it's been repeated about 30 times already. Nick Frost is usually very good, Shawn Of The Dead was comic gold but so far it's only been so-so.

Shameless has always been quality. The X-Mas special where they get dodgy meat is a good episode, as is the one when Debbie sells porno's of people to her friends and starts up her own little business. It's a shame Steve went as i quite liked him.

Havn't seen Life On Mars yet.

Did anyone watch that Police thingy Channel 4 had on, on Tuesdays at 9 till 10 about a few weeks ago called The Ghost Squad. Shameless has taken it's slot now but that fooking rawked :01:

Shameless is the second funniest thing on telly at the moment, only just pipped by The Thick of It (Monday 10pm bbc2)

Decided to give Life On Mars a miss. Don't like detective series's much, and the "gone back in time" gimmick seems a bit ropey. :huh:

I believe there's a new series of Hustle coming soon, that's compulsive viewing, mainly because of Jaime Murray. :w00t:

This episode of Masters Of Horror is great!

It's called Pick Me Up.

It pits a serial killer that targets hitchhikers against a serial-killer hitchhiker. :huh:

Good episode...so far.

I got round to watching Life on Mars and I was well impressed, the two episodes so far have cheered me of the depression that had set in from lacklustre new seasons of Lost and 24 (so far). Hopefully it will continue in the same vein.

However, if you said a show was good, I would probably watch it since you seem to be pretty harsh on a show.

I have yet to see a show you recommend to test the accuracy of my assumptions, though.
It could be your taste is just horrible or overly critical and nit-picking.

Wow the last CSI: Miami was pretty good. A rarity that he bad guy just totally gets away with little hope of getting caught.

The next CSI should be pretty good too. The episode, "Killer", will be through the eyes of a serial killer.

The Unit was mmmmm...aiiight. I don't like the way it's filmed. The action scene had that bullshit blur frame stuff. Full motion video is best for action.

The very last scene did make things interesting though.

The overall premis of the show is actually good and I'll watch next week's episode but overall I was NOT impressed.

I should've tivoed House...really.

House is a "cool *ssh*le". He acts like a d*ck but is fun to watch.

I watched it and its purty good for the kind of series it is lol
Whats scary is there are compounds like that in Southern Utah and parts of Arizonia and New Mexico. On accident on a family vacation when I was a kid my dad went into one of those compounds to get gas and it was like stepping back in time (the old west) it creeped me out.

Dr Who is on sci fi channel on Friday nights. I really liked that show, next weeks looks good with the "walking dead"

Yeah haven't finished watching the first ep. of Big Love yet. I'm on the second Sopranos now.

I already saw the Doctor Who episodes off downloads back when it was on in bratland. Now that I know it's coming on over here, I won't be downloading the second series that's coming on soon over there. I'll just wait. No rush.

I am getting sick and tired of Sci-Fi not being in HD though. A show like that needs Hi-Def. A channel like that does for that matter. It's a damn travesty.

Prison Break season 2 has been greenlit and starts this fall. Production starts mid-June.

They will break free by the time the season ends on May 15.

3 main characters will be killed off in the last 2 episodes.

Season 2 will be like "The Fugitive" in which the characters will try to elude capture. Producers have not decided whether the show's title will change to reflect the change in direction. Locations in New Mexico are being scouted since part of the new storyline is set in the southwest.

Thief - see it...good show.

I'm gonna watch Heist next. Hope it's good.

Both are good, just different takes on a similar thing. Heist is a bit more light hearted and comical and Thief is a bit more gritty and dark.
