This thread is fine in the lounge 15%, its not the first one people see....;)

I am as aware as everyone else that the forum is very quiet.:dry:

Rick...it doesn't matter about scoring points on whether its true or not. (Why does it sound like you are gloating? Do you WANT the board to die?)

The real 'point' is trying to encourage not discourage people from visiting.

Surely the first thread on a board should not say 'Is FST dying?'

Peat...I had no problem with the content of the thread, its fair enough discussion, just where it was. And no...it wasn't me.

It was me me i requested that that this particulare thread - the one we are in now got deleted or closed.
Instead the one up there got moved
which in after thought is much better for board moral*

I'm not gloating, it's just that the censorship seems to be getting pretty terrible, with anything uncomfortable being deleted or closed

Why are we talking about this board dying. Take a look at the other boards used by a lot of members here. They are running with about one fifth of the regular members this board has it stands at the moment. If they are lucky. I dont hear any talk of them closing down.

i asked if the one in lounge (the one i made) be closed
by some error "they" moved the other one ok
it is all a mistake

Strange.

Those boards (Rikk's, Jonno's, The Moderation, etc) all have one thing in common though.

An admin who is present and seems to give a fuck about their respective boards.*

(Other than the occasional half-hearted post saying everything is okay so-and-so is busy but will fix the board soon...)

*Obviously I had to hire an admin to give a fuck about my board ;)

It would be a start. Someone who had a bit of passion for the board and getting set on track again. This board is broken as evidenced by the front page.

I doubt this board will die of lack of interest on the side of the members. More a lack of interest by the owner(s).

Don't be surprised if you find a 'For Sale' sign in the backyard and eviction papers through the door sometime in the future.

Rossco redid the front page on Sunday and fixed all the links. I believe he pm'd rookie so it could be updated but I am guessing it hasnt as yet
