It's called motion blur, next time your in a car with your mates, get one of them to drive really fast and hang your head out the window, just make sure theres no obstacles in the way.
i think it looks cool. i have it on max resolution and AA off, but my graphics seem to stay fine. i dont really look at the scenery when i drive at that speed :lol:Quote:

I have a problem with the hoodlum 3.9gb tar file as well. I downloaded it twice, both from IRC. Both of them are 3.9gb but only contain 32 files, not 80 or so. I can't even begin to extract the iso because it it says "crc failed on hlm-gtasa.iso" from the first archive.
Both were downloaded from difference irc bots on different channels in different servers. Is there anyway to know the right one to download? The file size is 3.9gb, but the 42 rars only tally up to 2.1gb.
I don't know why it does it, its not a heat issue, cuase no other game does it. Just when i play SA. I got teh latest drivers and everything. Anyone one else have this problem.
Heres my specs
AMD 3000+
Radeon 9800pro
1gig of ram
Is there really a hidden island in this game? If so where is it.
You can get access to part of Liberty City if that's what you mean.
Don't know how to do it myself tho.
You use this program that can teleport you there. Its alright i suppose. A lot of the ground isn't solid so you have to shoot where you want to walk to make sure you won't fall through the ground.
You can search google, or I think there is a FAQ @ gamefaqs.com about how to get there.
Anyone know a real good website of latest mods for Gta San Andreas? Ive used google but all lead to the gay Hot cofee mod.

Rockstar has released a patch for the well known PC game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. These patches prevent and remove the "Hot Coffee" modification. The "Hot Coffee" scenes were not intended to be part of the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas experience. If your copy of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for PC has been altered by the unauthorized "Hot Coffee" download circulating on the Internet, or if you wish to prevent your version from being so altered, download and install the patch for your version of the game.
Latest Changes:
* Added support for 720p and 1080i HDTV resolutions (may also do 1080p, not sure)
* Version Number displayed on game title screen
* Issue fixed on machines where the OS has been updated (one OS installed over top of another) and has 2 registry keys that point to the users "My Documents" folder (we incorrectly used to assume the Win2000 folder, now correctly uses the last installed OS
* Crash when entering advanced display options with only 32 meg of video ram (32 meg of video ram is not supported and will only allow use of 640*480 in 16 and 32 bit
* Crash when entering advanced display options on a dual monitor machine after
* Destroyed cars now are correct colour
* Dirty cars now able to get clean
* Numpad 5 key is now mappable when re-defining controls
* Issue on all machines where certain collisions caused parts of the audio system to crash (sound effects, cutscene audio - only radio keeps going) - users know this as "Rain / Thunderstorm bug"
* Improvements to DVD streaming
* Audio problems in interior / exterior transitions and getting in / out of cars fixed
* Some fixes to ensure reverb is not present at certain save points
* Improvements to dance game timings
* Crash occuring when using "user radio files" while the frame limiter is disabled]

The image still works as of October 6th, 2005.Quote:
