Well, there's zero ventilation, and they're made of rubber, so.
That said, it didn't bother me. If you get sweaty, they're very easy to wash inside, after. I only tried them on for a couple of evenings, though. (I bought the ones I was trying, myself, but they were a bit too big, so decided on giving them away.)
If you decide to try a pair and you order online, be careful with the sizing, though.
