Yeah, they wanted Argentina out and the better German team still in, that was their logic.
Nothing to do with South American rivalry.

Silly me, if you don't even understand what obstruction is, how could I possibly expect you to understand what constitutes a penalty.
My favourite bit is how you tried to reinforce your pish argument by addressing it to adster. Another guy who has no concept of the rules of football. Aussie BawA, as it were.

There's no arguing with that. Really there isn't.
I know more about it than you because I played a lot of football when younger, not to a very high standard I'll grant you that, but it's still the same game. I watch 3 or 4 live games (albeit TV) a week. I go to games as often as I can, unfortunately that's not very often. I watch TV programmes in which experts analyze the game to the Nth degree. Discussing the minutiae of the rules and how they are interpreted.
Let's talk about Rugby League, bet you know shitloads more about it than me.

u didnt get it, here we mostly support either Arg or BRA so they least dont want to loose to each other but if they loose to some1 else it doesnt matter then, and these brazilians knew thier team is playing shit and coming to next stages by chance so they wont last against argentina for sure, come on brazil got to play with rookies like Japan, Aus... but argentina came up by Plying Serbia, Mexico, Holland and hard teams.

You do understand that that the World Cup is seeded, don't you?
Brazil, the favourites, are supposed to play wee diddy teams early doors. Then play the better teams as they get to the latter stages. Assuming the better teams also win and go through.
That's how top international tournaments work. The organizers want to see the better teams in the latter stages, not knocking each other out early. If it's done properly the top two seeds meet in the final.

You would never get an Italian doing that, it's just not in their make-up. They have a win at all costs mentality.
Agreed. Italians are just too het up with their own game to do what Di Canio did.
They're like some kind of European American.

Who said that?
I said you were wrong about it not being a penalty.
I couldn't care less where you come from. It matters not one jot. I'm disagreeing with Dodgy as well, or anyone else who claims it wasn't a penalty.
You're the one harping on your paranoid nonsense. It's got nothing to do with where you live.
