i have a movie that i'd like to know the name of. all i can remember from it was, its a sort-of "end of the world/nuclear war" type movie, and the only sceen i can remember is, towards the end of the flick, a guy is standing on a roof of a large building in a city, and he sees like 3 nuclear missiles flying overhead. i think the movie was made late 70's/early 80's maybe. :flowers:
ill have to search for miracle mile, and see if its the one, ty :flowers: *edit* i just watched the trailer on the link you posted and i do believe thats the movie. your a hell of a researcher. :)
 have a couple:
1. a 10 year old boy is in a graveyard for planes from WW2, or something. falls down a hole, finds some time travelling device, then, when he returns to school, there are dinosaurs and soldiers from ww2 and shit.
2.
clip from the tales from the crypt, some people on a raft, there is some sort of blob in the water, just wondering if there is a full movie for it. Oh, and this blob eats em all I think. :D
number 2 is frome creep show 2 and is called the raft. It was adapted from the stephen king story of the same name.In my opinion it was the only eposode of creep show 2 worth watching.Happy holidays everyone.Quote:

'My Science Project' IMDb Link
Gotta run,
Best wishes for 2004 everybody!!!
So I hope everybody has had nice Christmas and NewYear's parties and still has all his/her body parts :jester:
I've had the privilege to sample some of the Turkish cinema during my visit to Istanbul, so feel free to ask those too
Well it seems December is a month where the networks only show really popular and known movies, but January as always is a month of new beginnings so perhaps there will be more 'obscure' movies that pass this thread (or just simply movies which name people forgot :) )
As always results from the past are no guarantee for future succes ;)
BTW: My monthly 'obscure movie that is actually quite good' recommendation goes to 'Dobermann' IMDb link and contrary to what you may think from the title it's not German, but French.
Happy New Year Guys/Girls/Undecided/aliens or manchester united fans
i took my g/f to see Doberman (she likes Monsieur Cassel)
i had no idea who Monica Bellucci was .............but soon learned fast :D
great film though.
i am a bit unsure as to why imdb would say
"if you like this title, we also reccomend"
Hard Rain
NOT A CHANCE IN HELL IMDB
now as for Turkish titles mmmmmmmm not too sure on that
P.S BIC did you get to sample the "fire water" ;)
Hehe, no raki for me, but I already knew that firey stuff :flame:
Lots of 'Efes' beer though :beerchug:
Funny you know Dobermann :D
one of the few good things from living in paris was that the cinemas (even on the Champs Elyses) were really cheap.
especially compared to the prices in London now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and back in the days b4 a certain Mr.fanning rewrote the rules. ;)
If you wanted to see a movie, you went to the big screen.
anyways back to Xmas and the joys Of "Brennivin Schnapps" almost frozen.
now thats a drink all right !!!!!!!!! just bloody expensive
so if anyone lives or is going to Iceland (the country not the UK frozen food stores)
and wants to send me some :D <_< :D    :smilie4:
