Re: Water cooled setup
Good point. I think the 2nd pump increases the head pressure and flowrate. I may start later today constructing the loop in this fashion
Res>1stpump>CPU>Ram>320rad>2ndpump>GPU>120rad>Res
Now I won't have my Rad block for about another 2-3 weeks or so :frusty: but I think for now I'm just going to throw a temp piece in there ( maybe an old NB/SB block) just so I can get going with this thing already.

Re: Water cooled setup
You're going to watercool the edge of the memory sticks?
I am simultaneously repulsed and intrigued.
Mostly repulsed.

Re: Water cooled setup
Sorry I should have explained. These are made specifically for Dominator ram. You remove the top fins from the ram and screw this down in its place across whatever sticks you may have. In my case there are 4 sticks of 2 GB each. It uses the aluminum stock sink in conjunction with this. Thinking of it now I will probably have to use thermal paste between the two right? found a pic of it...

Re: Water cooled setup
The white is interesting, almost pretty.
The contrast is striking.
What is holding the levitating pump?

Re: Water cooled setup
Thanks so much man, that means alot coming from you. Well when I first started a really nice guy had told me to "hang the pump to reduce vibration and noise" so the top pump is hanging from the res and I added a piece of round aluminum to keep the arch the way I needed it to be so the pump would stay somewhat level.

The bottom pump is levitating too but I just cut a piece of petras gel stuff about 1/4" X 1" and stuck it towards the back of the pump, you cant see it but it does keep it elevated slightly and lets the fan cool it off a touch as well :)
I do have a small update:
I redid the tubes on the Gpu cooler and changed them to white and I think this will be the final tube routing.

It looks like a fancy device for Pasteurizing milk, D.
But, then, what do I know.
