I'm sure he didn't mean to ruin the enjoyment in film when I was in high school. My teacher would rewound the tape for ever film of his to explain the importance of certain scenes. While other classes were watching LOTR, Matrix and James Bond I was stuck in a classroom watching Hitchcock, D. W. Griffith, Buster Keaton and a bunch of other German/French silent film directors.
To be honest, it did make me appreciate/notice the effort directors do now that others seem to over look ... and I thank the fat bitch for that.
