If anyone has found they can't log on to UK Nova in the last couple of days, don't worry...you [probably] haven't been banned. There is a problem that means many people from the UK using virgin media and a couple of other ISP's, and also users from one or two other european countries, cannot access the site or use the trackers owing to DNS server issues. To access the site, try using uknova.tv (instead of .com), but to use the tracker it takes a little more effort. Follow these steps to edit your hosts file:
1. Open the hosts file by:
Going to the Windows Start Menu and typing the following information, relevant to your operating system, in the Run dialog box:
For Windows NT and Windows 2000, you type 'C:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc' (without the commas)
For Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7, you type 'C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc' (without the commas)
2. Once inside the 'etc' folder, you'll see a file called 'hosts'. For your peace of mind, using copy and paste, save a back up of this file somewhere safe (should you ever need it, you can always use it to undo any errors you may make).
3. Back in the etc folder, double click the original hosts file, and when prompted choose to open it in Notepad.
4. With the file open in Notepad, start a new line by placing your cursor at the end of the last line and hitting Enter.
5: Copy and paste the following into the hosts file, so that each entry occupies an individual line:
74.53.143.35 www.uknova.com
74.53.143.36 tracker.uknova.com
74.53.143.37 tracker2.uknova.com
6. Close the hosts file, and choose to save it. If UAC tells you don't have Administrators permission and it prompts you to save in My Documents instead, do so and save as hosts.txt. Then locate it in My Documents and change the file name to just 'hosts' (without the .txt extension), then drag the file into the 'ect' folder to replace the original hosts file. Again, UAC may prompt for permission....just click to confirm.
7. Rejoice....you should now be able to browse uknova.com, and use the trackers as before.
If you don't feel confident enough to follow the above steps, the only advice would be to wait and hope that Virgin and the other ISP's fix the issue....if ever.

You can still seed regardless of the tracker's status, but since it's down for you you'll get less "visibility" than other users.

IPT is back up for me.... I know a few other people that use it and it was down for them for most of the day and it started working for them and wasn't working for me then I restarted me my machine and it started working for me....
