AMD runs hot as a star and fries componants too quick, Intels consumer line isn't much either. If you want fast get Xeon 2Mg Cache or higher. fast, stable,workhorse. i work on 20 computers a day and never had a bad xeon system yet.

You might wanna check your facts wrt AMD heat, the mobile socket A's can run fairly cool, and the socket 939's (and onward I'd imagine) keep an ever lower voltage.Quote:
