Re: Winter Olympics 2006 Torino, Italy
I hope the americans loose to their semifinal opponents. I'm scared that the Canadians will be too over-confident with the Finnish and AMericans, over confidence can hurt alot.

Two Chinese pairs skate. Neither were together with their spins (out of sync) and the female of one pair even made a mistake on her landing and had to brace her hands against the ground so as not to fall.
Both Chinese pairs got better scores.
Bullshit.
I'm glad wifey went back upstairs. Now I can watch BSG.

Not only did the referee allow all this junk but Zhang and Zhang then won the silver medal. Tony, how fraudulent can you get?
So I would say it's a Zhang Thang that you wouldn't understand. There are certain sports that where they build in downtime, rest time or injury time like in tennis.
Like golf, between rounds...not in the same skate.
Yes, it does seem to me that if you are out on the ice and you suffer this kind of injury..THAT'S IT...the program is over. You get up right away, you keep skating or you quit.
That's what's happened before. We've seen people have to end their programs before.
Yes, I don't think you can leave the field of play and uh come back when you want.....and then get a silver medal.
Have and ice tea. Have a nap. I mean come on. It's fixed. It's exhibition. It is not sport, Tony. It's just scandalous. The whole thing is a fraud.
It's athletics but it's a performance.
Excellent we agree.

Wow!
Plushenko's (of Russia) single figure skating performance was brilliant.
