utorrent is the best client ...it works with all trackers...
well...
considering it was bought out by the BT creator... who now collaborates with the mpaa... this will suck majorly because utorrent could have some hidden features for mpaa agents, they mite incorporate DRM's, etc.... maybe be good for the new features they are talking about.. but for filesharing this would be bad...
then again the BT protocol could be updated to suit the needs of the mpaa... even worse.. :dabs:
That's why you don't update, kalboomz. Stick to 1.6.
Thanks for the advice. I will stick to the older utorrent. Best out there in my humble opinion. Shame to hear about the big money trying yet again to stick it to the little guy.
utorrent is clearly the best overall client imo. I have used Bitcomet, BitTorrent and Azureus. All seemed to be slower and Bitcomet and Azureus noticeably slowed down my system. It is unfortunate it was bought out, however I'm sure if there is a problem, programmers will jump on it and produce something better.
I agree...I have already tried Azureus, Bitcomet, Bittorrent, and know utorrent...
And I feel im gonna stick to it until something better comes up, because nowadays, I have no doubt about it...it's the best one out there..
I've never heard of any tracker banning utorrent, which is why I use it.
I hope in future uTorrent would be better!
We all hope so. Check out this interview with Bram Cohen.

Quotes
TorrentFreak: What was the main reason behind the acquisition of uTorrent?
Bram Cohen: uTorrent has both an impressively clean codebase and large user community, although we were already working on our own C++ implementation. Moving forward, you’ll see announcements related to BitTorrent being embedded on silicon and on non-PC hardware thanks to the new C codebase we have (based on uTorrent and our protocol extensions)."
TorrentFreak: Are their plans to remove any of the present features uTorrent has?
Bram Cohen: No, uTorrent users are quite happy with it, and we wish to keep things that way. In fact, be on the lookout for a Mac and Unix port, which we have the resources to do thanks to the size of our engineering team.
TorrentFreak: Will the uTorrent client be integrated into the BitTorrent Video Store?
Bram Cohen: We’re going to launch our entertainment network with support for whichever BitTorrent client the user wishes to install.
So, hopefully he won't go out an commercialize it.
