If people don't want to vote, then they've got a right not to have to vote. If you force them to vote, then they could vote for anybody, out of spite.

However, you should have to demonstrate some minimum level of understanding of politics before you are allowed to vote though. It's not like X-Factor.

For example, should this person be allowed to make important decisions? :blink:
