I got an e-mail from them as well, and that is enough to make me not sign up for the site. No torrent site should be advertising like a common newsletter or message board.
I got one of those emails too. The email went out to people who registered at a site called InviteShare.
The members at powerscene are now global banned from all torrent sites, along with being responsible for stealing a certain sites user DB and sending mass emails. Also, they are repsonsible for the same site being DOS'ed out of business. Lamers...thats all i can say

Spaming the forum makes you look needy. Too many new shit trackers. Too much invite spam. Unless you have something new to offer, I think its time to give it a rest.
