I don't get "stubble" beards...either you shave or you don't, make up your fuckin mind.
I've had a mustache forever and grew a beard last winter.
Tried a goatee this spring but it was too much work, so now it's growing back out.

Since there is a healthy amount of gray in it, the beard is really enhancing my crotchety old fart persona- "Hey you kids, get off my bloody lawn!"- which is the role I was born to play.
Now, if I could just manage some Andy Rooney eyebrows, I'd be set.
