You probably think people on this site are being very negative about your idea for a new site, but you should listen to the people here, many have been torrenting for a long time and know what they are talking about.
If you do get the site up how are you going to recruit members? I certainly wouldn't join a site where the owner clearly doesn't know what he is doing. The staff and server should come from people you know and trust. How do you know the person who offered you the use of the server is trustworthy? they may even be MPIA or RIAA (probably not the right initials but you know what I mean).
Learn a bit more about running a site before you waste your time and money on this and before you end up getting yourself into a whole heap of trouble.

Don't listen to the most people in here because most of them think they're funny by making someone feel dumb. Anyway man listen you should hang around a little bit. Get familiar with all this coding stuff then ask yourself again if you still want to go through with it.
