thanks anon for addressing my question. i guess that make sense that people outside the US don't perceive anti-p2p to be a threat. but i would not be so sure of this fact if i was you because it is possible to sue someone for breaking laws of another country or for injuring someone else in another country.

You may be right, but as of now you can see cops chatting with the guys that sell pirated DVDs in the street in my country. If they don't care about people that are actually profiting from piracy, why should they bother with some guy running a P2P app at home? BayTSP going after someone on the other side of the world would make as much sense as that - to me, of course.
