I can see what you mean though, but IMO it isn't quite the same. When you smoke, you choose to accept the risk that it can make you ill. Abortion or euthanasia are choices made out of necessity, a problem that demands a solution.
True on that part, but the link I was thinking of was more on the pattern of common opinions; in each, there's a case you 'you can choose to' or 'you can't'
