I too use SCC more then any other tracker not only for TV but also for Movies but there are instances when i cant find a certain release on SCC and TL/IPT have one also when downloading 2/3 years old torrent from SCC many are left with 1 or 2 seeds whereas TL/IPT has many people seeding the same scene release that max out my connection so SCC solely dont do it for me.

l33tness will earn you nothing, The primary motive of every torrentier is to get the files and there are other awesome places apart from FTN/HDbits to get hold of those files.

A tip for that, if you can find the release as part of a pack, then partial download it from there instead. Packs tend to be much better seeded. :)
