Re: Tomorrow is the last day of the fall semester
Oh for fuck sake. Better put him out of his misery before he takes an aspie aneurysm.
The word is mathematics, not mathematic. Therefore the abbreviated version should be maths, not math. He was basically calling Americans in general, and you yourself in particular, stupid, innit.
I'm all about spoiling peoples' fun these days. :smilie4:
Re: Tomorrow is the last day of the fall semester
According to wikipedia, Math or maths is used colloquially to refer to mathematics. DngrMs, you are wrong if you think the word "math" doesn't exist in English.

I was your brah, sellout. Just because the site crashed it doesn't mean you can disregard that :snooty:
It was all a ruse to aid in my attempt to curry OlegL's favour which in turn is but a small part of a larger, incredibly intricate plan which ends in my cornering the global market on lazy spastic math failures. But I've already said too much bwahahaha.
Anyway you probably should have seen this coming as my username is an anagram which when rearranged reveals my true identity of James Moriarty.
It's a really tricky anagram so don't feel bad if you can't see it.

I just edited/added a part to that Wikipedia page where it now says that Maths also colloquially refers to Johnny Mathis.

Your plan is either really stupid or absolutely brilliant.
Re: Tomorrow is the last day of the fall semester
It's brilliant in it's stupidity,pawn.

Re: Tomorrow is the last day of the fall semester
There is still something I can do. I can make an appeal for retroactive withdrawal from the courses that I failed. If my appeal is not denied, I'll be able to prevent being dismissed from the college. If it's denied, then it's bye bye Kansas... I also have to think about the fact that I won't be able to receive federal or state grants anymore even if they don't dismiss me. I'll be forced to take out loans... This situation is so fucked up and I am a fucking loser. I've always been a loser...
Every day I wake up and ask myself why I am different and not like everybody else. There is no answer to this question... Oh God, why did you bring me into this world? Dear God, please answer me...

DngrMs, take a look at this article: http://www.nytimes.com/2013/05/30/ed...s-in-math.html . Hopefully, reading this article will convince you that the word "math" exists in English.

He fucking knows it exists in the language, twat.
