Reality please understand that there are 80,000+ members here. I can not satisfy everyones ideas for how the site should be. You try running a large forum like this. Its not very easy. I am taking into consideration everyones ideas, however some things may please you while a few hundred other members will hate the idea. I can not reply to every single suggestion post as I would be here for eternity.

Please understand the situation I am in. :-)

To make a general guest room available again, one where our members can reply questions. I think it's a great "recruiting" place! :)

Well I do kinda understand your position and that on the surface it may appear as your job is very unrewarding and can be rather annoying as well. Although lets be serious for a second since when have you been concerned about offending a few hundred members, not lately thats for sure.

Also lets be serious, 80,000 members, give me a break, are you attempting to have me believe there are 80,000 active members that make an actual contribution to this site, I think not.

As for the ideas I see posted here there are some very good ones that would be productive for this site yet you have not taken any of them under your wing as of yet, all I see for the most part is you responding to and pitching you porn corner.

It is rather clear that this site has become slow, inactive and diluted. At least if nothing you could attempt to repair the fact that it is diluted. I've waited well over a month in that other topic for a response or some possible action and yet to see either nor do I expect too at this point.

If your worried about offending some members, a few at best, by doing this then maybe the logical thing to do would be to have a poll and then you can just say it was our decision, worrying about a few members that are all but glorified at having their names in lights and having their own world is a joke,and doing nothing is not your style nor do I believe this gibberish, you just don't want to do it, thats your style, and in my opinion its not in the best interest of this site anymore but do as you wish as you shall.

I am not here trying to state that any of the problems here are your fault but I will state that the fact that you have been quite stubborn toward us only acting upon what you wish to and ignoring the screaming and bitching of the members here as well as the well placed criticism and productive thoughts of the members here.

Why start this topic, it should have just been titled "Will Be Adding Porn Site", as from what I have seen so far you will go forward with what you want whether we like it or not, so baiting us into a topic like this and suggesting you actually care what we think when you don't since you only hear what you want is rather insulting...

No, the topic was not started for the promotion of the adult section. I started it for opinions and suggestions and I do appreciate your suggestions. I am definitely considering eliminating some folders like you said, possibly combining them to one. I agree that this might be a positive change. There are problems that will arise though. There are members who like the site more organized and diluted so that they can easily find what they want. Also there may be a problem of rankings getting messed up.

Thank you for your comments Reality. Trust me I am not overlooking them. Changes take some time to organize and I can not personally respond to everyones comments. Within the next few weeks I think you will be pleased. I have created a poll like you have asked.

I think senior member status should be given out by the admin and the mods. Everyone can get 5 stars but maybe a 6th for those who dont spam and show dedication to the board or something? Just so its easier to see whos a good member and not just a post whore with 5 stars. Some way of differentiating between Useful members and those who just post to speak to their friends (not neccaserily a bad thing but it could confuse new members).

I think that is a load of bollocks :huh:

I have 5 stars and i have not been here a year - does that make me a post whore?? If you look at my stats you will see that 95% of my posts are in the lounge, its where I am and its where I am happy. I never asked for posts to count, you never heard me whinge about the posts not counting.

I think to call 5 star members spammers and post whores is very offending :(

Infact, I tried to word that carefully not to offend someone. Most of my posts are in the lounge, I like to talk to my friends as well, and I dont consider you a spammer. I was referring more to the people that post to get their name all the way down the page.

When did I say you asked for posts to count? That wasnt an issue. All im saying is that there should be a way of differentiating between people who help out lots of people, and thoe that post to talk to their friends more often. I post in the lounge mostly as well. it doesnt matter how long youve been here either.

When did I call anyone a spammer or a post whore? Please reply.
