Look, Mr. Pocket - I really don't know of England's involvement in drawing up your constitution but the last I checked, they aren't standing over the US making them adhere to it.
It may well have been necessary for a citizen to bear arms 230 years ago but really ... this point is about as relevant as my comment about burning witches.
