Firefox is great. Some pages have compatibility issues, but thats the only problem I have really run into, but they have a "launch in ie" extension that works great.

I still use IE..but really..whats so good about firefox? I mean a browsers a browser no?

But...with th AOL 9 software u dont need to use the browser to even connect, you dont even need to use the software, it can auto connect as soon as XP starts which is better that AOL 7 ans 8.
But still it sux :P

Only the software sucks so if you don't use it then it's just the same as any other ISP. I'm on AOL and have been for years, I've also not used the software since Version 5.
I'd have swapped if the speeds were poor or if the connection was dodgy but as it is I'm uploading, downloading or both 24/7 and never had any problems.
No need to beat yourself up about using them as an ISP but using their browser, mail client or tech-help is another matter entirely, avoid them like the plague, install your own software and get tech-help from rossco :D

Ive asked them a few things before and Jezus FUCKING CHRIST...ok, if someone doesent know something because thier not educated on the matter fair enough, but these people are horrible creatures that need to die :shutup:

I can't believe people still use AOL in America.
It's 24 bucks a month (for dialup) and DSL is 30. :blink:
