Berserk of course , there is nothing of a better quality in the industry. Caracters ,story, depth,emotions, it represents for anime what Star Wars was for movies. There are more amazing animes like Higurashy, Gits SAC, 12 Kingdoms , but Berserk is probably the best ever made. I didn't read this thread till now but it's disturbing to see how little knowledge users who post here have about anime and how many think of bullshit like Naruto/Bleach as being the best.

Where do you guys get your anime from? boxtorrent? anywhere else?

I would go with Full Metal Alchemist too. For me, it had the perfect touch of comedy and unlike many other series, FMA never diverged much from the storyline.

- Hajime no Ippo, I still like watching some matches sometimes like the first fight against Ippo and Miyata
- Berserk; a classic, still reading the manga (same for Ippo)
- Cowboy bebop ;)
- Space adventure Cobra; another classic that I enjoy a lot
- Fushigi no umi no Nadia (Nadia and the secret of blue water); the BEST Gainax for me.
