Re: check out this ANOREXIA forum.
You are sooo hard. I knew I loved you.
Be careful with Atkins, it can make you ill. Better to just eat a healthy balanced diet and excersise in moderation rather than use faddy diets like Atkins or working out excessively .

Looks like you're already on the path towards anorexia. Maybe that's why you are so critical of others with the disorder. You see something of yourself in them.

You might be on to something there.

Did she say the brain misfires? :O Oh mmk?
Was a Parkinsons victim told they were too stiff and so decides to shake?
A tourettes victim told they were too mannerly and decided blurt out or curses on a whim?
An epilieptic was told they were too loud and they decided to do their best to keep quiet?

You never reply when I mention OCD.
Imo, it's close to anorexia nervosa. A mental disorder that makes you do things that seem weird to people who don't have the disorder.
Are OCD sufferers stupid too. Are they funny, in any way.

Yeah I know. I'm only 15 pounds overweight (more if you consider BMI).
I'm 5'9" 200 lbs. I used to be 185 when I was seriously cut-up.
I moved into a new house, got a ready made family (girlfriend with child), reinjured my knee that already had a torn ACL and meniscus, and can't play basketball like I used to (can't cut or in essence cut-it). I stopped lifting like I was supposed to.
I have always ate WTH I wanted even during my slowdown. I'll eat a whole foil of Entemmens Raspberry Danish, a pack of EL Fudge cookies, or two heaping bowls of ice-cream. Friends laughed 'cause I'll two meals when we've gone out (even an obese friend of mine laughed). I eat extremely late. I do everything wrong as far as eating but I never actually worked out to get rid of the weight. It's like basketball fueled me to workout and that's gone.
I'm doing Atkins for 2 weeks. I'm eating fish, chicken, and little beef. I also add in spinach, mushroom, and others vegetables.
I allow myself a little more leeway with the carbs since I workout decently now and got a YMCA membership to swim.
I am starting to pre-rehab my legs 'cause I'm getting surgery on my knee in the winter. People still can't tell I'm 200 ilbs but they couldn't when I was 185 either.
I fear my eight-pack will turn into beer. When I run stairs I'm starting to feel other "parts" of me moving. It's like I'm in someone else's body and it's depressing. However, I recognize my problem and am doing something about it.

Re: check out this ANOREXIA forum.
In your case you have recognised thats its your bad habits causing your problems, you don't have an eating disorder. Take the way you feel about your wibbly bits, magnify it by a million, have people tell you constantly that theres nothing wrong with you and you look fine when you FEEL so ashamed of your own body that you think everyone must be humouring you and you may have some idea of what I'm talking about.
Good luck on your mission though. I've learnt finally that being healthy is far more important than loosing weight and swimming is fantastic excersise for joint problems.

Yeah. I'll be going from high-impact exercise to no-impact. Swimming is fantastic anyway. I remember the time I caught a charley horse in both legs at the same time in 12 ft. of water. Scary.
I was a COE sometimes. Then I started thinking I was going to into a diabetic coma or some shit. I tore up some sweets. I'm still pissed I got a cavity 'cause my bitch ass dentist shrugged me off about getting my wisdoms removed.

Who?
I'm not talking about a specific person, I'm talking about the sufferers of the condition.
Btw - I've thought some more and reckon anorexia nervosa and bulimia are a form of OCD.
-
Re: check out this ANOREXIA forum.
Whats a charley horse? That some aquatic yank animal? you could combine the swimming with aquatic aerobics for some resistance training. Its not as girly as it sounds as you use weights (which float  ) and foam tubes to increase the water resistance and give yourself a good workout without the joint strain.

Re: check out this ANOREXIA forum.
.
"I was a COE sometimes."
Then how the HELL cant you understand what I'm talking about in terms of EDs?

Words on the screen are all we have to go on.
Everyone that's contributed to the thread thinks that your view on this is completely idiotic. Most think that you're a moron - some even think that you're a stupid body-pumping dismissive heartless arrogant egotistical supercillious person (). My own premis is that you're too insecure to admit that you're wrong and too much of a prick to apologise for any offence that you may have caused.
But, of course, you'll say that you're right and everyone else is wrong - you'll prolly believe it too.
