I've used to be ABC when I started using bittorrent. Then Azureus came with a lot of stuff like downloading some parts of torrent files, WEBUI, etc. The only problem was that when you let it run for a long time it ate a lot of memory. I've stayed with Azureus for a long time but then came utorrent with a tiny program doing all the same stuff Azureus did. I've switched back and forth between the two programs for a while until I finally decided for utorrent. There is nothing to complain about it: small, efficient, lots of stuff (I don't care if they ripped it off Azureus or not) and no memory bloat.
Tried them all. (ABC, Bitlord, BitTorrent, Azureus, BitTornado, uTorrent ).
uTorrent :cool2: is the best. At the moment?????
I like UTorrent, i think it has a much nice feel to it. But then again i used BitComet for about a year so any other program would probably feel good!

Utorrent for me. I like the small memory footprint. Azureus slowed my computer way to much.
I use Bitlord never tried anytnhing else....
utorrent is the best for the moment... :D Azureus is second best, maby it has a lot of features, but it's also hard on PC resources.... ;)
Definately Utorrent, smaller, faster, BETTER! Atleast in my opinion

µTorrent is better, sure Azureus have more options but it eats memory as well

I was using Azureus before knowing about utorrent , utorrent is my first using bitclient now .
i've been using azureus for ages now, but im slowly being drawn by the lower mem. usage of utorrent
uTorrent Hands down.
most ppl who still use azureus say its becoz it has more features. ok, true, but how many of these extra features do you actually use? none.
are those features actually worth the ressource hog? no.
iwent from bitornado to utorrent and havent looked back,utorrrent uses a lot less memory and if ur gonna seed a torrent from another tracker it checks the data a load faster than any other client
Used to use Azureus, then uTorrent then back to Azureus.
Apart from resource use theres not much between the two
u torrent all way for me aswell , uses next to nothing resources .
I use utorrent. I have had over 100 torrents seeding on my pc with very little resources being used. I remember older clients like the original bittorant client years ago and not being able to even load an empty notepad file. God how much things have evolved ;)
More private trackers start banning Az...
Even if I have 2 GB RAM, my choice is µTorrent.
Though I do like Azureus GUI, and the possibility to ban individual IP's, which you can't in µTorrent.

nah, azureus seems without a doubt the most comfortable for me, despite its resource hogging downfalls, its a beautiful piece of file-sharing software. Always seems faster then utorrent to me
Personally I never have speed issues. I max my 100mbit line with Utorrent without even trying.Quote:

Just trying Uttorent 1.6 this weekend seems very fast , I never cared for Azureus The learning curve seems awful high tho ,still trying to figure how to upload files .
Wish we had a tut on here on how to use it properly .

Absolutely uTorrent for Low memory consumption.
