Movavi video converter is an awesome video converter. In fact there is also an option to join videos! One can also convert audio files. A must have, versatile software.
I use VLC media player to convert video format. You have to open the video with VLC and click media -> convert / save. Then choose the format you want and save video.

If the CLI doesn't scare you, there's very little that ffmpeg can't do. Most other soft are basically GUI over ffmpeg anyway.
And yes, long command incantations doesn't qualify as "easy to use".

I normally use some websites which help to convert files but they can't for a large file. Looking for a solution to this.

Best free video converter has to be Handbrake. Paid for and much faster than Handbrake is VideoProc.

I am using Xilosoft pack. Try it. Its easy to use and best for everyone.
I'm on Linux and find ffmpeg the best and the easiest one. There's a version for Windows as well.
In your particular example this would look something like

It is also quite easy to automate the process with full control on quality, codecs, etc. once you get used to it with time.Code:ffmpeg -i inputFile.mp4 -q:v 6 outputFile.avi
