Amazing man you got skills!
The first one looks like something from Bioshock.
How are things waiting out detale? everything still alright?
As luck would have it I just got my SATA cables today so I am going to go try and finish up and install the OS to start OC'ing this bitch. Ill take lots of pics :)
lol gdgd:D well im sure this hole thing has taught you a lesson:p
Holes tend to do that.
Been eerily quiet in here lately.
I know Im swamped with home stuff sorry guys. I have been working on the lighting but I lost my camera, damn kids, I will take some shots tomorrow with the old camera and keep you updated.
OK so here a new one for you. I want to get a fan controller and I have it narrowed down to 2 or them. What do you all think?
Lian Li Rheobus Fan Controller

This is Sunbeam Rheobus mounted on a Genuine Lian Li 5.25" aluminum bezel. For those of you that want the clean look on your case without all the graphics and writing all over the bezel
So it will look good with the tj 7 :)
Or (and the one I am leaning toward)
NZXT Sentry LX

I was also thinking of going with the
Sunbeam Rheobus EXTREME

As it has more channelsand they may come in handy. What do you guys think?
I have 3 of the first style Sunbeam and think they're the best you can get.
The LEDs are extremely bright but they are easily removed.
It would be simple to drill the TJs stock drive bay cover to accept the Sunbeam which would save you almost $20.
Hmmm what a good Idea man, I soooo miss the obvious sometimes, So no go on the NZXT one then??
I think it's gaudy and shows irrelevant info.
The beauty of the Sunbeam is that it's linear from full off to full on and each channel can handle multiple fans...for instance, all my rad fans are on a single channel.
Also, I've found that once you get the fans set the way you like, they don't get changed much- especially now that you're watercooled. I moved my controller from the front to the back, down next to the PSU, mainly because I never fiddled with it.
Ah I see, I was just reading some reviews for it and it looks like im going to go with the sunbeam one anyway.
BTW Clocker do you have any updated pics of Sprocket??
Not really.
She's been unusually static this past 6 months or so.
Static???
As in unchanged.
Ah. OK cool. I just ordered some more shit I don't need along with some San Ace fans for Rev 2.0. I have some better ideas. I am going to mount the sunbeam myself and add a switch for the inside lights.
Lights, blingboy?
Lights?
Gilding the lily.
Damn did I say that out loud?? I know I had to put some tasteful UV in there. I repeat tasteful.
Presumably there will be a Hendrix poster as well.
Actually I was thinking of putting a disco ball in

Did you get the RAID set up?
Alright detale howz things coming along? sorry i havent been around for a while ive blown my mobo up and still not got it sorted out:s
I did man but even the drivers you gave me weren't good. I coincidentally found the GB disk that came with my board and used that it did work. Honestly I think Im going to go back to non raid though. As much as I re install windows it becomes a real pain and I keep getting raid failures.
AD What did you do man?
That's weird.
I frequently reinstall Windows (tinkering with the OS is so much cheaper than buying new hardware) and have never had a problem.
Never had an array crash, either.
Clearly, I'm better than you.
Only 1 real crash but I was using the GB Gigaraid Meh Im not sure yet really though
I've always used the Intel controller for the HDDs and the Gigabyte SATA for the optical and eSATA connections.
My next PC (whenever that happens) WILL have SSD for the OS and the need for RAID will be gone, but till that happy day comes I like the speed that Rzero provides.
I thought performance on SSD's weren't all that great tho?
They will meet or exceed the Raptor's performance.
o'rly. Hmmmmmmmmm
So, temps?
meh, not yet but tomorrow fur sur. Been too busy....damn wife....damn kids
I did a quick check in the bios for temps looks like between 32 and 35 for the CPU. The fan speed seem to have no effect on the temp at all. Should it? I have AWESOME San ace fans I bought from UTNorris on Xtreme for DIRT cheap. I did modify the Sunbeam fan controller like you said Clocker and DAMN was it easy. Drilled a few holes in the faceplate that came with the case and even added a tiny switch for my lights. Pics in a bit I swear.
BIOS temp is irrelevant.
Use RealTemp and perform the calibration.
Link for realtemp?? I used occt today and got 33 idle and 44 under load. I do have the 6600 oc'd to 3.0 though. God I wish I had more time to finish this damn thing, but I refuse to rush it and not be happy with the results.
how long did you test it for?
RealTemp.
The developer, Kevin, has worked tirelessly to perfect this app and as far as I'm concerned it's the best thing to use on your Intel chip.
On a side note, I provided him with the copy of Vista he used for development.
/hornblowing
I ran it for 3 hours I will post the pics and I WILL take some pics today if it costs me my marriage damnit!!!
Clocker you're like the mayor of testtown, Thanks was it 32 or 64 vista??
Both.
Of course it was, I should have known.
So do you think these temps are normal?
33 idle and 44 under load oc'd tp 3.0
