Which one is your favourite tracker ?

The staff dont seed any of them, only ones they have downloaded.

its the members/community that seed 99.9999% of them, I only have 26 torrents seeding, and those are the ones i downloaded on the tracker, I have only uploaded 4 torrents in over a year.

and dont worry about the review mate, i am just getting very disillusioned by this whole place (BT in general not just FST)

Mmm, I guess the SP system is indeed ingenious.

Do you know of any facts about the system where most of the members didn't manage to find out about?

Maybe your p2p days are going to be over. In everyone's life, after a certain p2p phase of life, it starts to lose importance.

Well, maybe members like me who don't really grasp the the whole SP system thing.

Maybe it's just me I guess.

Any ideas about what the site will be concentrating on after all the new perks and such?

Well obviously the SP is far to complicated to go into detail here but the basic premise is this.

You can download any torrent on the the tracker and as long as you seed it, you get a 1 ratio on that torrent, even if no leechers turn up ever.

The 20:1 seeder leecher ratio stops members limiting thier upload.

lets say i download a 4 gig game that is 2 years old.

I download it in 3 hours, no leech shows up for a bit, so i seed it for 72 hours, i then start to get SP on it, a leech shows up but i am limiting my upload to 1KBs, well if by that time i am the only seed, that leecher will take ages to download it. so i may as well seed the ehing at my max capacity, then i can start gaining SP again.

But if i upload 3 gig of that 4 gig torrent, when SP comes back into play, i just need 10 SP points, so 10 hours, not 40 SP points = 40 hours of extra seeding.

Now you have a 1 ratio on that torrent, so no hit and run, but if you have a 2 global ratio, to keep the 2 global ratio you have to seed that torrent to 2, so ppl will keep seeding it.

others just like the game that much, they believe that if they stop seeding it, it will disapear from the tracker forever, so they keep seeding it till the cows come home, and someone will always want it.

The more seeders that gets into the torrent, the lesser time you'll need to be seeding the torrent to get to a ratio of 1 since the SP will be much more compared to one with lesser seeders so don't limit your upload just because the SP system will save you.
