The two I use the most are oznzb.com, which is absolutely amazing, and nmatrix.co.za, i'm not sure if registration is open for that one anymore, its an invite only index that occasionally has limited open registration. Between the two there is almost nothing I can't download.
OZNZB is a newznab based indexer with "amazing" prices. These prices are in AUD not USD.

I spent a good 30 minutes writing a long-winded reply showing how much work we are doing on the back end of the site to provide speed of indexing, searching, and mass content...and then got logged out some time between starting and hitting send and lost everything...oops! Anyhow, long story short, we are hoping that by using tor we are able to have the longevity that other sites have not enjoyed. We also believe it is a matter of time before the users are gone after for their activities and know that our actions are already being monitored so we are a bit of a Tinfoil hat people. Hopefully by going underground we will be able to provide security for outselves and our users in the long term.
As far a uniqueness goes, we feel that 350+ groups, 4,646,652 non-spam releases, and a 30 second loop time are about as unique as it gets amongst indexers, especially ones that do not charge for access. We understand that having to use the proxy is a bit of a PITA but have attempted to make it as painless as possible. If you guys check the site out, let me know what you think and if theres any content you are hoping to find that is not in there, let us know and we will do out best to include it in the next loop.
Edit: our "free" users get 1000API hits and 100 downloads per day. We also have ranks of "beta helper" and "donator" that both give double the hits. We feel that whether you pay us or help us to develop the site further, you deserve the same level of thanks (2x the free level). That being said, we think that our "free" level is pretty aggressive in and of itself. If you are able to donate your time to the site and are hoping for something a bit more as far as hits goes, we are more than happy to extend the hits/downloads further.
I don't doubt you work plenty hard on the site. My prior response was poorly worded. What I meant was in terms of content originating from there. Not just indexing or spotting other posters, but like u4a or ayabtu--uploaders, bots, whathaveyou, that call your site home.
Ahh, yes, that is accurate, we are simply scraping right now. To be clear, I didnt take offense at anything you said. I understand our drawbacks for the most part but will certainly keep your comment on having original content in the front of my mind. It's a great point. I hope my post didnt come off as overly defensive either...I attempt to be a good steward of the community as a whole but sometimes lose track of how people will interpret what I say vs what I am trying to say.
Again, thanks for the feedback...every little bit counts.
The only downside to Tor that I can see is that skipping around sites can be enormously slow as you're onion routed around the world from link to link, so you're ending up with the speed of the slowest skip point (makin' this stuff up as I go along, so the terminology may be classically Aussie and therefore dodgy as hell).
If you end up with a great connection, though, Tor is intriguing, for sure, and something akin to it is probably the next digital step for the likes of us, eventually. What we really need is something bright and shiny to distract politicians trying to gain voters by appearing half way intelligent, so they can leave us poor bastards alone.
I will agree that Tor is much like any other network...its only as good as it's weakest link. That being said, they have made some serious improvements in the speed of the network over the last 2 years and even over the last few months. After the botnet linked into tor, they made some changes that have sped things up even more. I havent checked in on them in a few weeks but I dont believe the 3.4 series is release yet. That is where some of the huge improvements were for my browsing. They may have pushed some of those into the mainline but i have not tested it out yet. I used tor way back in the day and you could expect to wait up to a minute for a page to load. The was partially because tor was slow and partially because websites didnt have any kind of optimizations to make it easier for tor to pull everything down.
Tor is significantly slower (still) than browsing plainweb but its easy enough to optimize a site for tor. Not to get on a sales pitch but if you check out the site and browse to a section that has covers, check out how long it takes for us to load the covers vs a site you normally browse. It probably wont knock your socks off if you are already using one of the top sites as they have probably done some of the general optimizations but it should be around 20% faster on average than a site optimized with a plainweb experience as its "marker". On average it takes me about 3-8 seconds to load a page including parsing the covers so yeah, its slower...but hopefully you have an automation system that takes out 90% of your need for browsing so that you can trunk it through the api and only have to login to the site every once in a while (which kind of kills the want for community but meh).
Side note: I'm either having issues with double-posting and having both posts getting moderated or I am somehow deleting my posts after I post...not sure which but whoever mods this post if you could just let me know so I'm not a nuisance.
Sorry for the inconvenience. We have an automated system that puts posts meeting certain criteria in the moderation queue, invisible to anyone other than the forum staff. It is extremely helpful in hiding spam before it even reaches the public, but sometimes it catches legitimate posts like yours. In that case, you have to wait until we approve it manually.Quote:

Once 15 days have passed since your registration date, you'll no longer be in the "n00b" class, and the filter will leave you alone.
Not a problem at all. I wanted to ensure I was not causing extra work for the mods. It also seems that I've been freed from the noob rank so we are definitely good to go. Thanks for the reply!
I'm surprised so few people mention nmatrix.co.za it's actually pretty awesome. Usenetcrawler.com and oznzb also get my vote, oznzb is easily the best I've used though. Between those 3 I'm pretty much set.
Are there any free NZB sites that offer RSS feeds? There are a lot of sites in the thread, but they seem like limited shareware versions of NZB sites.
We are all about RSS feeds over at http://nnpbetabzsneptym.onion/
As long as your are okay with accessing via tor, we've got you covered. Totally free, no required payments. If you like the site, donate so we can stay around and pay the bills. If you dont like it that much, don't donate! Check us out, let me know what you think, and most importantly, ENJOY!
PS: Yes, it is the default NNP template...we have covered that a couple times in various places but it comes down to reducing JS over Tor and keeping the formatting decent. (Also a wee bit of laziness)
Hi all,
What do people use for BD ISO? I keep seeing releases listed on predb.me but cant find the nzb. Someone said to try bd25.org but I think its down!
Many thanks in advance
Anyone know what happened to ubernzb.com?
What happened to gingadaddy.com? Gives only timeout...
What I like about nzbclub as an indexer is that it goes back some 1900 days as opposed to 700 days for NZBIndex and 1100 days for Binsearch.
Solid List. Thanks for sharing!!
great list thank you
Great list - useful - thanks - Which nzb sites has Chinese tv shows ? Hong Kong TV drama programs ???? I cannot find a good site for this? any help is appreciated.
Great list thanks... Being doing this for many years... good sites like this are hard to find!
Thanks for the list!
I'm partial to nzbclub as well.
Along with this great site, i've been using oznzb.com.
Thanks for the list!
nzbgeek is nice. I believe it is another site enjoyed by roos.
DUT Planet is pretty good, although a lot of content is in Dutch!!!
usenet crawler is good, but seems to be slow on updating content latetly.
Probably time to remove NZBMatrix as it has been down for months now.
yeah, nzbmatrix has been offline for almost a year and won't be coming back due to legal reasons.
i miss nzbsrus.
Nice, thanks for all the (continuous) info!
I've been missing out. Thanks all
