What is the best anti virus software to get?

symantec endpoint protection is very light and powerful.

I heard Cylance is a good one. Haven't tried them yet because I still have time left on another one.

Avast is not what it used to be.

I would stick with Bitdefender , Norton (Symantec) or Kaspersky. There are many others that work pretty good also. Find one that has all the features you want/need at a good price.

Saying new purchased PC's have Windows 10 with antivirus, and the apps you can add to your internet web browser, you would think if you are getting viruses, you should change what sites you are going to or downloading from:yup:

Nothing like getting paid to be surrounded by lolis, but as he found out the hard way, all excesses are bad.

Microsoft Security Essentials has worked admirably so far.All those other av I utilized just hindered my pc with all the bloatware poop and didnt work admirably at distinguishing infections ... just on the off chance that they were keygens from games or breaks.

I have used Kaspersky for a while. Its detection rate is pretty good.

I used Avast which is good but it slows our system, window defender is best to try to update all time so it's working fine

The best antivirus softwares for laptop are following. you can use any software from this list.
a) Trend Micor antivirus
b) Norton antivirus
c) Bitdefender antivirus

BullGuard is best

I use ESET Nod 32

Windows Defender is good enough for most people. and it's free.

After using Eset for years along with Norton/Symantec Endpoint switching and comparing, well now I admit that Windows defender is more than enough. It's been long however to reach this point of trust.

nod32 and Kaspersky sound like big farkin viruses

I run Norton Security, its not intrusive.

I use Kaspersky for my parents' computer. It has kept my dad out of trouble for years now. Extending the subscription is a easy as adding the new code to the account.

I used to use McAfee for him, but he seemed to get a virus every six months.

I use Bitdefender for my wife, myself and my kids. I like the family management tools, particularly with the kids. And it also seems to keep everyone out of trouble.

McAfee... he died the way he lived, making everyone say "what the fuck!?". Anyway, I haven't used any of their products in a long time, but I remember this one.

Kaspersky free version.

My Favorite is NOD. Avast is decent for "free", Malwarebytes always a great option as well.

I think the best antivirus is Avast

I have been using Norton for over 20 years. There were a few years that I quit using Norton, when it was a resource hog on some of the older machines For the past several years, it has worked seamlessly and my systems have never been infected with any viruses because Norton always detected the viruses/malware and removed it.

Ah, the good old days of having to do phone activation without ever picking up a phone.

All the free ones are kind of annoying. Avira was OK not sure if there is better.

I am using Windows Defender, I think it is one of the best and modern protection for your PC.
